Ask LSOP # 35 – Are bullet vibes all the same?
Comparing the differences between three styles of bullet vibes.
I was recently looking online and saw two very similar bullet vibrators. One was priced at $15 and the other was $150. They both looked about the same size and style, how can there be over a hundred dollars difference?
Thank you for your question!
At a glance it's often difficult to see the reason for a drastic difference in price between two similar toys. However, once you get inside and check out the specs on how they run, the higher quality toy is (usually) worth the higher cost.

The biggest difference in a vibrating toy is the power source; More inexpensive toys will run on watch batteries, medium price toys tend to run on more common batteries like AA or AAA. The higher price rechargeable toys will have some form of lithium ion batteries inside.
The most inexpensive toys in the store will have a run time of approximately 45 minutes. In this instance, the bigger the batteries the longer run time. A rechargeable toy will often run for over a hour and a half before needing to be plugged back in. Power is something to consider when you're looking for a new toy, a $15 toy will have a smaller motor and not have the the power to vibrate at higher speeds. If you or your partner crave a higher or deeper vibration, a rechargeable toy will offer a wider selection of sensations.
Lastly price will determine quality and life time of your toys. The higher end toys will come with a manufacturer warranty (Some even come with 10 year guarantee!). At Little shop of pleasures we guarantee every toy for 90 days, but a well made toy that's treated right should last you years.
