Ask LSOP #20 - How to Cook the Perfect Fleshlight

Ask LSOP #20 - How to Cook the Perfect Fleshlight

The following is the full Ask LSOP #20 question and answer, featured in the Little Shop of Pleasures October 2017 newsletter.

How do I heat up my Fleshlight?

Lots of people choose to warm their Fleshlights (or other strokers) before use to create a more realistic feel. There are several ways that this can be done, but here are our top three suggestions:

1. Hot Water

Since time immemorial people have been warming up their strokers by soaking them in hot water prior to use. The common method is filling up the sink with hot water, and leaving the sleeve submerged for five minutes. After it’s warmed up, give it a pat dry with a towel and you’re good to go!

2. Electric Blanket

This is another popular way of warming toys before use. Wrap the sleeve in a towel (to keep it from getting lint, etc stuck on it), and then wrap that in an electric blanket or heating pad. You’ll have to experiment to see how long your particular electric blanket takes to heat up a sleeve to your desired temperature. This also works with those microwave heat packs. To be clear, microwave the heat pack, then use it to warm the stroker- don’t put your toy in the microwave.

3. Fleshlight Sleeve Warmer

These handy devices are specifically designed to perform this task. The Sleeve Warmer consists of a warming rod on a tripod base. Its USB powered (but does come with a wall adapter), and when turned on will heat a Fleshlight (or other similar toy) up to 57°. It even has an automatic shut off feature that turns down the heat for a cool off period, keeping the toy at an ideal temperature until it’s ready to use.
