This month we feature the seasonally appropriate Jimmyjane Glo Heating Rabbit. Seasonally appropriate because it's spring, and this is a rabbit vibrator (get it, spring, rabbits?), and also because we live in Calgary and despite the season it's still cold as hell.

New to Jimmyjane's catalogue of luxury toys, the Glo Rabbit is a dual stim toy with a unique feature that sets it apart from its peers.

Jimmyjane is known among toy companies for their commitment to creating toys that exhibit the best of the best that the industry has to offer. In keeping with that, this recent addition checks all the boxes you would expect a top tier toy to check: rechargeable, made from medical grade materials, completely waterproof. Below the surface of the toy, two powerful, Japanese-made motors create rumbling vibrations that originate from their positions in the tip of the internal shaft and the external clitoral stimulator.

The toy's form is an amalgam of lines and shapes that have become familiar in rabbit-style vibrators, particularly the shaft, which has evolved from the classic pin-straight, phallic shaft of the classic rabbits to a shape more in line with LELO's genre-defining Ina. Shorter, and with a curved, swollen shape that more closely mimics the shape of the vaginal canal than a penis, the internal portion of the toy is designed to conform to the shape and curve of a body for a comfortable fit that allows the external arm to rest at the citoris without the whole toy needing to be inserted to the hilt, while simultaneously offering a better angle against the G-spot. Aiding this is the toy's remarkable flexibility.

The clitoral stimulator is shaped like a flower bud on the brink of bloom, with two small, petal-like protrusions that flutter when the toy is turned on. Like a rabbit-shaped stimulator would, the shape of the Glo’s external vibe allows the user to enjoy a broad and firm touch or a focused and light touch by angling the toy differently- an effort made easier by the ultra flexible joint of the two arms of the toy.

As I was reading up on this toy I was immediately reminded of a study by Dutch uroneurologist, Gert Holstege, who proved through a study that women were more likely to achieve orgasm when warm. Now that study concluded that this could be achieved through wearing warm socks throughout the deed and not toasty rabbits, but as someone who routinely runs toys under warm water before using them to avoid getting the chills, the Glo at least gets a check mark for convenience.
